The wisest, most caring advocates, thinkers, helpers and process holders we know

Body Trust Certified Professional

About our
certified Body
Trust Specialists

Meet a multidisciplinary group of professionals who have spent a minimum of 12 months training with us.

Sharing your process with people who support your liberation is an important part of reclaiming Body Trust.

If you do not find someone in your area, many of our specialists offer support via video conference or phone.

A note about
our directory

The voices and experiences of Black, Indigenous and People of Color, gender variant folks, fat folks, and/or people with disabilities have been absent and minimized in the eating disorder, healthcare, and wellness-related professions.

Therefore, we are working hard to draw an increasingly diverse group of people to be part of our Body Trust Provider Community.

To include providers who are often excluded or unable to participate in trainings such as ours, we offer equity-pricing and additionally have 10 low or no cost spots in every cohort.

Mental Health Counselor

I provide individual counseling to adults, and am passionate about helping people form trusting relationships with their bodies through the Health at Every Size® and Body Trust® models of treatment.”

As a cisgender, white, heterosexual woman it is my goal to acknowledge my privileges and the pathologies created by racism, sexism, bigotry, ableism, anti-fat bias, and diet culture. Through continued learning and my own lived experiences. I strive to appreciate the intersectional lenses through which each individual experiences the world, And want to create a space where clients feel empowered to forge their own paths to recovery. Through collaborative, evidence-based interventions I hope to help clients cultivate self-compassion and curiosity. My areas of focus also include existential approaches to grief and traumatic loss. I believe the value of this work lies in cultivating not just compassion within ourselves, but a more compassionate world.”

Outpatient Dietitian
Diabetes Educator

“Hello! I have been an outpatient dietitian and diabetes educator, in the field of diabetes and eating disorder recovery, since 2005. As a cis, hetero, white, neurotypical girl I’ve bumped up against a lot as I’ve worked to identify and dismantle my own anti-fat bias, complicity with diet and fitness culture, and the thin ideal. I work from a weight inclusive care paradigm, using trauma-informed, and harm reduction interactions, to help me, and the people I work with, to heal relationships with food & the body. I offer one-to-one virtual, and in-person appointments, as well as an 8-week virtual group titled “Making Peace with Food.” As a Kaiser employee, working with me is by referral only, for Kaiser members. In my personal life, I am raising two amazing kiddos, who teach me what it truly means to be intuitive eaters and explore and support a non-binary world.
