Reimagining “The Change”—Together

NOVEMBER 12-14, 2025

The thing everyone’s suddenly talking about—but few truly understand.

The gaping hole in healthcare research for women and people experiencing menopause.

The life-altering transition often reduced to jokes, shame, or silence.

Menopause is not just a personal milestone. It’s a cultural reckoning.

It’s a transition with the power to reshape not just our individual lives, but the systems that define our value by our fertility, labor, and appearance. Menopause is a portal—for rage, grief, clarity, and liberation—and it’s time to talk about it differently.

Whether you’re deep in the experience, just starting to wonder what is happening?!, or you’re looking ahead and want to be ready (or more resourced than the people who have come before you), The Menopause Summit by Center for Body Trust is for you.

We’ll unpack myths, challenge the dominant stories (including the ones that told us to suffer in silence), and center the real experiences of people who’ve been left out of the mainstream menopause narrative—Black women, fat folks, trans and nonbinary people, disabled folks, and anyone who’s felt unseen or misled.

This is not your average summit. There will be no false promises, quick fixes, or “clean eating” protocols. Instead, expect:

  • Real talk about physiology, sex, aging, and body changes from a size inclusive perspective

  • Conversations that challenge menopause myths and misconceptions

  • Resources to ground and support you: playlists, readings, and podcasts

  • Sessions on strength, rage, grief, pleasure, and menopause as a homecoming

  • Candid conversations about hormone therapy, hot flashes, eating disorders in later life, and more

  • A grief circle and two live webinars with space for your questions

From “I don’t remember it being bad” to “No one ever told me this could happen,” we’re naming the gaps and holding space for what’s been missing.

Whether you’re navigating this transition now or just starting to imagine your way into it, you belong here.
