The world needs you.
Your brave voice.
Your radical presence.
Your bold advocacy.
Almost everything I have learned about body freedom and body trust – radically accepting my body – I learned from Hilary and Dana.
As a fat black woman society has always told me I am too much, and less than, at the same time.
Body Trust and the folks at Center for Body Trust helped to teach that my body, and being just as I am, is powerful, needed and necessary.”
The Adaway Group
Hilary’s work as a therapist, educator, speaker, and writer has been a study of what interrupts our sense of wholeness and how we can return to ourselves in a culture that profits from fragmentation.
Dana is a registered dietitian, trainer and author whose work focuses on humanizing health care, advancing health equity, and advocating for food and body sovereignty.
As an executive in healthcare where she leads equity and inclusion efforts, Sirius is a fierce advocate for health equity and social justice.
With Special Guests
Desiree Adaway, Imani Barbarin, Shilo George, Sand Chang, Marcella Raimondo and more!
Two Training Paths
We offer two unique training paths designed to prepare you for shifting paradigms around weight and health and giving you the tools necessary for evolving your work.
GroundworkBuild an unshakeable foundation
- Our Groundwork program is a self-paced training consisting of 14 online learning modules that will guide you in developing a different way of thinking about food, weight, health, bodies and healing.
- Groundwork is ideal for you if you want Body Trust training, but are not planning to get fully certified.
- If you know you want to sign up for certification the next time enrollment opens and would like to get a head start on the required curriculum, you may start with the groundwork modules and we’ll apply the cost of the program toward your certification.
CertificationPut your training into practice
- Certification is a year long training that includes a two hour webinar every month with guest teachers, panels, and roundtable discussions and Q+A time. Groundwork course modules are included and are a required component of certification.
- Webinars will be held once a month and are co-facilitated by Sirius Bonner, Hilary Kinavey, and Dana Sturtevant. Quarterly BIPOC affinity groups, led by Sirius Bonner and Body Trust Specialist, Rachael Ringwood are also included in certfication.

“Center for Body Trust has changed my life through their work. I appreciate the focus on whole-person healing, the acknowledgment of the realities we are faced with, and the holistic integration of nutrition and therapy — all taught with compassion.
